A/N: This does not include all 365 prayers, it will consist of a certain amount of chapters (perhaps ten? maybe more I haven't decided yet) and it will be a handful of random prayers.
Prayer one:
The first time Dean prayed to Cas, he was alone in the forest, resting for a few minutes under the shelter of a tree – hoping that he would be given enough time to do it. He glanced around him and sighed before closing his eyes.
"Cas," he started, shaking off the slight tremor in his hand from exhaustion.
"Cas, where are you man? I... I can't do this on my own. I really need you buddy," Dean shook his head, shivering as a chill ran through the air.
"You can't just disappear on me like that without any explanation. Okay, yes. I'll admit it, I'm afraid. And I can't do this without you by my side," His breath hitched in his throat and he snapped his head up as he heard a growl from far too close for his liking.
"I have to go. But I promise you, I'll find you – if it's the last thing I do. I promise you Cas… We're leaving here…Together."
Meanwhile, a few miles North of where Dean was running for his life, Castiel was running for his own – only stopping as he heard the familiar sound of Dean praying. He shook his head and curled his legs up towards his chest – wrapping his arms around them as he dismissed it.
There was no way he could go back… No way he'd put Dean in anymore danger than he was already in.
With a sigh, Cas shook his head. "I'm sorry Dean," he uttered to himself, before getting to his feet and running off again.
