Black Tears

Black tears I cry,
In shame and in pain,
For lost I stand in this blackened hall,
What was once glorious,
Has gone away.

Now rebuilding still the tears fall,
Blacken stains upon my face,
as now I aid in rebuilding this place,
Remembering those that came before,
Wondering if they'll return.

Black tears I cry,
For all that was,
So that it can be again,
Would of I could
Stop what once was from ending again
To freeze in a moment,
Of hour where life is grand once more...
