"Aah," came a mumble underneath several boxes. Remus peered through the door and called out from another room, "Tonks? Love, are you alright?" Tonks sat up, rather hastily, and was rummaging through the contents of which came out of one of the fallen boxes. Upon collecting the things, she found some she wasn't familiar with, so she called him into the room.

He came over and sat with her, and the instant he saw the contraption a broad smile made its way onto his face. "Tonks, dear, do you think you could hand me that box over there?" Extremely curious, Tonks turned and handed him the box. He took out some flat things and put them on the contraption. "This is my record player. It's a muggle thing Sirius, James, and I found when we wandered into muggle London." "And these," he pointed to the box she recently handed him, "These, are my records." She took the box and started to look through them. After going passing up two or three records, she came to a whole section which she recognized four particular men. Standing up a bit haphazardly, she exclaimed, "Merlin, Remus!! These are Beatles' records!!" Looking up at her from the floor, Remus replied "I had no idea you liked the Beatles, Tonks." Tonks went to sit back down. "Oh, I love them! Especially Ringo, I took a nice fancy to Ringo for a couple of months." Remus spoke after, "Ringo? Hmm...I would take you to be maybe a Lennon fan, but not really Ringo. Why Ringo anyways?" "Well, yeah you'd think I'd like John but I'm more attracted to the quiet, shy types." she responded with a smile. Remus only blushed.

It was Remus' turn to stand up. Remus brought out an old guitar. Immediately Tonks came over and they sat together on their couch. Remus strummed some chords. "I didn't know you played guitar Remus! Oh, that's so brilliant!" Tonks said enthusiastically. Remus colored and smiled. "Well it was Sirius's guitar, but after a few hours, several headaches, and ear aches later he left it." He strummed a few notes and started to sing and hum along. Meanwhile, Tonks was picking up the other records and things of the such. She plopped down next to Remus after clearing all the stuff from the floor. Leaning her head on his shoulder, she drifted off to hear him singing,

"Who know how long I've loved you.
You know I love you still.
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to - I will.
For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name.
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same."

"Love you forever and forever.
Love you with all my heart.
Love you whenever we're together.
Love you when we're apart.
And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air.."

Remus' voice drifted from another room as she walked to follow it. Quietly she poked her head through the door but he made no notice of it. Sitting there, eyes closed and smiling, he held his sleeping toddler. Tonks inwardly smiled, her daughter and Remus both shared his light brown hair.

His voice getting quiet, Remus finished the song in near whisper.

"Sing it so loud I can hear.
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
You know I will.
I will."
