Good Morning.
Will awoke to the the blinding light of the sun in his eyes. After about a minute of pain he relaxed again. There in the bed all snuggled up against him was his beautiful wife Ashley Magnus.
He felt her warm breath on his skin like a little kiss. Just for him. He loved it. He placed his hand on her arm and felt her warm soft skin , she was almost too perfect to be real. He remembered the day he fell in love with her. It was the same day the scar on his heart healed. She healed it. Her love had fixed the whole in his heart that he been put there by the lose of his mother.
He smelled her hair. Strawberries, from her shampoo, she alway used the same shampoo. Smeeling it he remembered the first time they made love. He remember the very same smell as he held her in his arm that night as he does this morning. On that day strawberries became his favourite smell.
Ashley could hear Will heart beat. It was such a beautiful sound, it brought her peace to know it still beated. 4 years they had been together, 4 wonderful years. They were four year she never could have imagine. During those years so many things had happened that she never thought would happen to her.
Her wedding, having a beautiful daughter, hearing her first words, watching as she took her frist step and knowing the joy and pride and love only a mother can feel. Tucking her into bed at night after capturing some dangerous monster and just seeing the happy look on her face as she drift off into sleep, it let Ashley know that some things are right in this world.
She had cast herself as many roles, daughter, friend, warrior, monster hunter but two roles she had never imagined for herself were Wife or Mother but now laying there in the arms of her husband and thinking about there daughter she know she wouldn't trade them for the world.
"Morning Beautiful" Will said kissing her on the forehead.
"Good Morning" she replied.
"What were you thinking about" he asked holding her tigher to him.
"Just how much i love you" she thought "And our family"
"How do you do that?" Will asked.
"Do what " Ashley asked.
"Make me fall more in love with you each day" he said. Ashley smiled and kissed Will.
Suddenly they heard a voice shouting "Mommy, Daddy". They saw their little daughter running into the room in her bright red pyjamas and climb on to there bed and worm in between to two of them.
"It's breakfast time" she called excited "Pancakes"
"You know Ash, I am pretty hungry" he said mvoing in closer to Sarah. "How about you?"
"Straving" she said following his led and sanwiching her daugher. Together they began to tinkle her woldly and she giggled and tried to escaped and begged them to stop. Eventually they did stop simply hug her very tighly.
"Alright that's quite enough, i asked her to wake you too lazy bums up" Helen said standing in the door way
"Grandma" Sarah cried running over to hug her grandmother.
"Good morning you little flower, why don't run down to the kitchen and get some pancakes before Uncle Henry eats them all" she said.
"Ok" Sarah said before darting off.
"You two, get dress it's nearly 10" she said before heading down to the kitchen for breakfast.
Will turned to Ashley and said "We'd get going"
Ashley pushed him back down on to the bed and said "Not so fast handsome" before climbing on him and kissing him as his arms wrapped around her.
No doubt about it, they would trade this for anything in this world.
