The TARDIS materialized at the most delightful of moments. The three suns were just setting over the sea on the planet San Helios. The Doctor sat down cross legged, bouncing like a child. Rose sat down next to him, smiling at his exuberance. Suddenly the Doctor's smile grew larger. The orange sun was the last to set on San Helio. It cast orange light over everything. For a moment everything, his pinstripe suit, his converse, his beautiful companion, was his favorite color. As it set, the smile faded a bit. Rose noticed instantly.
"What's wrong?" She asked softly.
"For a minute there, I was ginger." The Doctor pouted.
Rose had to stifle a giggle at his face. His lower lip jutted out and his brows were heavy set. He looked a bit like a teased puppy.
"I wanted to be ginger this time around." He whined as he flopped down on the soft grass.
Rose looked down at him, a smile sparkling in her eyes. "It's alright, Doctor. I'm not ginger either."
The Doctor grinned at her. He took her hand in his and tugged her to the ground with him. They lie there watching the sky turn to stars and enjoyed being not-ginger together.
