This is my first fanfic ever. I had this idea a while ago but I was afraid to post it. Sorry for any misspelling (English isn't my first language).
I'm going in to the battle. I always knew this was going to happen, but I've never thought this would happen this way, with me in the Titans side. And in this moment I remember. I remember the reason why I am here.
"If you join me," He said, "it can be like old times. The three of us together. Fighting for a better world. Please, Thalia, if you don't agree…" His voice faltered. "It's my last chance. He will use the other way if you don't agree. Please."
The way his voice sounded scared me. I knew "the other way" wasn't something I could let happen to him.
I stared at him. That blue eyes that I've always loved were begging me to help him.
"Thalia," I heard Percy's voice behind me. "no."
"We will raise Mount Othrys right here," Luke promised, in a painful voice "Once more, it will be stronger and greater than Olympus. Look, Thalia. We are not weak."
The thoughts in my head were telling me to join them, I couldn't let him alone. But join him meant leave my friends and everyone. I laughed inside 'Oh, hell. Yes, I'm weak.' I thought.
I took a step forward.
"Thalia, don't" Percy said.
But I had to. Because if I stayed with him, maybe he could see that what he was doing was wrong. Maybe I could fix him. I turned to face Percy
"I'm sorry."
I'll never forget the look in his face. He looked at me as if I was a traitor. When I saw Annabeth she was looking at me with tears in her eyes. They'll understand someday. I knew Annabeth will. He said me we were a family and he said the same to her. We were not a family anymore, but we could be if he knew he was not alone. I could save him, I knew I could.
Luke took my hand and smiled at me. I didn't smile back.
I come back to the battlefield and turn to face Luke.
Kronos didn't keep his promise, of course. He used the other way. Now, instead of the bright blue eyes I see the golden ones. That isn't Luke, but I wouldn't leave him.
And now I'm here.
Luke… no, not Luke. Kronos turns to face me. Our eyes meet and I see something, a shadow of blue. 'No, it's just my imagination.' I think. And it happens again. But now it stays for a little longer.
My eyes widen as it disappears again.
He holds my hand and stare at me. And I see this shadow again, but it doesn't disappear this time.
His eyes become totally blue now. The same blue I missed so much.
He smiles at me and, this time, I smile back.
