Nightmare in Atlanta
Chapter 1: Suggestions
The Date is December 26, 2008 and Bella and Edward were walking along side Carlisle's seemingly abnormal, at least for vampires, white house. They were enthralled in discussion. (Note: this is before Bella has become pregnant but after she has become a vampire) they come inside and sit themselves down at the table where someone was watching them…. Could be Alice, Could be some unknown faction.
They look into the paper and find something unusual, the headline was: Terror in Atlanta: Serial Killer or Something Worse Ravaging City!!! Bella called to Edward, "look at this!" Edward, surprised at the outburst looked over at the paper and saw that the killings were done in the same fashion of the Seattle vampire rampage by Victoria: killings done only at night, broad range of victims, and there was no blood.
By then Jasper heard all the commotion and looked over Edward's shoulder. "Hey Carlisle, Esme, Alice come look at this!" "I see bad things coming out of this," "Hey Bella don't you think this is kind of strange?" Alice exclaimed. "What do you mean?" Bella asked. "This article says it has been going on for months and the Volturi have not intervened." Alice replied. "Yeah I say we take care of it ourselves because judging by how many they are killing they either are very clever at keeping themselves concealed, or there are not very many of them." Jasper explained. "Alice, how many?" Jasper asked. "Just four" Alice replied. "That's good me and Bella can take care of them" Edward declared.
"All right, but be careful: they could be the warring vampires of the south, or if the Volturi have not intervened they soon will," Carlisle declared "you have a week."
