Yet another VSF (very short fic) from me. I still own nothing!
"Genki, please don't hate me over this...GODDAMMIT GENKI, I love who I love!"
Genki made a small noise, but didn't turn to face her. "You haven't changed a bit, you know that."
*Genki being bitter? Okay, maybe frenching your subordinate after Moo's defeat wasn't the best way to break it to him.*
"What do you want?"
"Oh, come on Genki! I had to break one of your hearts, the least you could do is take it well."
"I'll take it however I want too!! What about all the times I saved your life. What about all those times you saved me?"
*Oh goddess, he's crying over me.*
"I'll give you the dignity of telling you the truth Genki, you mean ALMOST as much to me as he does. Which is almost everything. He's saved my life too, Genki. I owe you my soul, my life...the same I owe him. Genki, I had to choose."
"But you didn't choose me. You don't love me, after everything we've shared."
"No. I do love you. But unless you're willing to live the rest of your life in denial, you'll have to admit there'll always be someone I love more...Someone who knows every one of my atrocities, every one my petty hatreds and doesn't think any less of me for it."
"Huh."
"I know you don't like him, but Big Blue's always been there for me. After everything HE AND I have shared, we are lovers." Some of her trademark smirk showed through on the last words.
"I thought we could have something. God, I might as well join Holly in the lonely heart's club."
"Undine's back, huh?"
Genki let out a slight chuckle. "Can you believe she still hasn't said anything?"
Pixie shook her head and looked into his eyes. "We could've had something kid." She took his face in her hands and kissed him. "But I love who I love. And that meant making a choice." He intertwined his hand with hers for a second.
"Are you sure you won't ah...reconsider?" He asked, blushing.
"Always pushing your luck, Heh, Genki. Do you want to my boyfriend to turn you into a pancake?" She stood up, staring at his hand.
"You really love him, don't you."
"More than anything." Pixie said in a whisper.
She pulled away, releasing his hand.
"Goodbye Genki. Big Blue and I are leaving tomorrow."
