She made my insides bleed, she beat me so hard. She's still out there. Someone could get hurt...Killed, even. I need to stop her before she starts! I'm unsure why she became abusive, but I had to get out before she killed me. Even if I were to just sit quietly and do as she demanded, she'd still hurt me. Even if I made the smallest mistake in doing something, she'd hurt me. Severely. Mother would come charging at me, full-speed with a crowbar. She'd pin me to the ground, and she'd hit me in the abdomen with full-force. After the countless beatings, she'd just stare at me across the table. She'd pierce right through my soul with those cold, cloudy gray eyes of hers. "NOBODY shall know of this. Understand?!" She'd say grimly. I'd just nod, holding back the tears. I fled, leaving that place after she cut my inner thigh open with a butcher knife. I fled with no regrets. I could trust no one.
