This is my first one shot, so go easy on me please.
Eddie walked in the cold England streets , yeah he was back, after 4 years in America, he was back in England.
He had finished college, he was back now to fulfill the promise, the promise he had make to Patricia 4 years earlier.
-You're gonna be back, right? Back for me?- Patricia said with tears streaming down her face.
-I promise- Eddie told her and wrap her into a long warm hug.
-I love you- Patricia said slowly.
-I love you too, yacker- Eddie said and leaned to kiss her slowly.
A cab arrived and Eddie got into it, he was going to come back for his yacker.
Reality came back to Eddie when a familiar voice started to talk to him:
-Hi Eddie- Patricia smiled a little; it was Patricia, his yacker!
-Hi yacker- Eddie said with a big smile on his face, he leaned to kiss her when a man came over them.
-Hi babe- the man said kissing Patricia on her cheek.
-Hi- Patricia mumbled, feeling the awkwardness of the moment.
-So…- Eddie said clearing his throat. –I'm Eddie, Patricia's ex- he added extending his hand to the man next to Patricia, it hurts, the word "ex" hurts a lot, especially when he says it.
-I'm Tom, Patricia's boyfriend- the man next to Patricia said putting intonation on the word "boyfriend".
Patricia just stood there uncomfortably shivering and rubbing her hands to feel warmer.
Eddie slipped his leather jacket off and offered it to Patricia; she could feel Eddie's cologne impregnating her body.
-I better get going- Eddie said. –I'm going to miss my flight-. And with dad Eddie disappeared,
That's when Patricia realized how much she missed him, all that time that she had wait worth it.
But she had lost him, she "moved on" ,that was the worst mistake Patricia had ever made.
And with that feeling she smelled Eddie's cologne, she had his jacket.
The jacket of the only man she had ever loved.
