Somewhere I Belong
Summary: Legolas' POV. Legolas is beaten and lashed at by someone very, very close to him. Will he ever heal or find somewhere he belongs?
Ch. 1
Why do I continue to live? Is there really something here in this hell that I stay here for? This feels so unreal, how could he possibly do this to me!
He has been doing this for as long as I myself can remember. Haldir once said that there is something he can do but now it is not possible.
Haldir is gone somewhere not here!! I pray he is not dead for he is the only comfort that I get here. I hope he comes tomorrow as he promised, but with that awful man here he may not come back for months yet.
I tried to stop those worrying thoughts that I had. I know that Haldir could not possibly be dead for he is a strong fighter.
I keep trying to fight these tears that keep coming to my eyes that give away my pain. Something tells me that the pain will not allow me sleep nor even relax.
When this began I had nothing to say, my voice was taken. I was beyond surprised normally this man would hardly come near me much less talk to me. Lately I'd get lost in the nothingness inside of me.
He'd hit me until I was nearly dead. Sometimes I wish he would just kill me so I can finally be free and happy.
But no. There has got to be something here that keeps me from going. Mayhap it will come to me in the future lest he kills me so that I may see it.
A knock sounds at my door.
Should I open it? He has already beaten me today so it will not be him.
I get up and open the door and a gasp escapes my lips as I see whom it is.....
"Hello Legolas."
