Disclaimer: Don't own The Hunger Games
Revelation
The woods around me do not care.
They cannot hear my hysteria;
They do not understand
Nor care
That within a girl has died.
They cannot understand my pain,
My guilt that I could not
Save her.
They do not know my anger
At the capitol that sanctioned this;
That doomed a tiny girl to die
Just for their entertainment.
I kick the dead leaves around my feet and scream myself hoarse
But in the end
My screams are lost to the trees.
In the end I do not care
Who hears me
Right now, I'm far too mad.
For in this moment I have realized that
To kill another
No matter what the "great" capitol calls it
Is MURDER!
