The music seemed to sweell to its loudest cresendo as my immortal children waltzed around me. I knew that Gabriel and his friar friend were near. Their heartbeats were the only ones in the entire hall. When your guests are all vampires, it's quite easy to pinpoint your enemies.

I caught a slight movement out of the corner of my eye. A smirk formed across my cold face as I violently dipped the woman in front of me, and pulled her upwards against my chest just as so.
The woman, whose hair was as dark as night, and face as pale as snow, was frightened beyond belief. She knew her place and her purpose. She also knew what punishment awaited her if she did not play the part of my beloved Anna up to par..
"You make my skin crawl..." she said, disgusted. Good.. good..
"That.. is not all that I could do.. with your skin.." I replied, grazing my lips along her neck. Might as well have fun with this while I can.

Just then, I feel a searing heat.. such a burning sensation on my back that it could be compared to the Sahara Desert sun in Africa. I slightly lost my composure, yelling out in anger and mock pain. A blur of Gabriel and red pass me by, causing a bit of wind to blow my strands of hair along with it.
Excellent..

Allow the game to begin...

Thanks to Carl running into the fire-breather, I was able to swing down and grab Anna. Now, she would be safe.. for at least a little while. Yes, she is supposed to be the one to kill Dracula, but it is my mission here to help her and at least keep her alive.
"Gabriel... oh Gabriel.."
The room fell deathly silent. That was never good. Not good at all. I peered down at him from the balcony upon which Carl, Anna and myself stood. He walked around casually, playfully almost. Reminding me of a cat torturing it's food before eating it.
"Welcome to my Summer Palace..." No one dared to speak a word as he spoke, keeping the tension high in the room.
"Master, Master! Look!" This tension was broken by the sound of a young child's voice. I looked across the hall and saw her.. That FIEND! How DARE he damn such a young and innocent child... I silently prayed for her to God, hoping that some day, she would find the correct path once again.
Then, I saw it.. Proceeding through the guests, was some of followers holding something.. no, not something.. someone! They had gotten Frankenstein's Monster!
NO! I will NOT allow Dracula to bring his offspring to life. I cannot allow it whatsoever.
"VanHelsing!" Carl yelled out behind me, "No! Not that! Urg.. Oh for Heaven's sake woman, STOP!"
Stop...? I turned around, only to see Anna bite Carl.. No.. not AnnaNot Anna! Then the realization hit me and I yelled out, trying to get the she-beast off of my close friend.
"CARL!"
"It's too late, Gabriel..." Dracula yelled from down on the dance floor, "Carl has been bitten and drained, the Key is in my possession and..."
I turned around and looked down, seeing Anna walking over to Dracula. She curtseyed to him and he smiled down at her in a mock love.
"Anna is mine..."
"No... NO!"

"Yes! Face it, Left hand of God... You lost. You lose. Her family is stuck in Purgatory... never to enter Heaven! And she... oh she will be entering Hell some point in time.."
The look of triumph on his face was sickening.. I can't lose.. I CAN'T LOSE! But one look around me, and I realized that I had lost... Carl was dead.. Anna had been eternally damned.. and the Key was now in his possession.
Dracula was saying something, but I wasn't paying much attention..
"Anna... I give to you, VAN HELSING!"
Well, that snapped me out of it. Anna was right in front of me, and then, behind me. Every where I turned, there she was, smirking at me that wonderful smirk that I had come to love.
"Anna, no, don't... you don't have to do this.."

But it was too late. Anna had struck.
