A/N: Must I say this when you all know that I do not own ANY of the Harry Potter people? ... Well I guess I just did ... Ironic, no? I only own my characters. You will find out who they are later, if you do not already know. I admit it I have terrible spelling and grammar. Trust me I am trying to fix it.

Wow it has been years; started in 2003, updated in 200, and forgotten then found again in 2013. Time for yet another rewrite. Funny that I never got passed the 6th book 2nd chapter. Oh well, I have found something new that I like a lot more now, K.E. Milrona's Bookworld Series.
As I know what happens in this story, though I do not read Harry Potter anymore nor will I make another HP Fan fiction, I thought it best to at least finish this work. Respect to the story and what not.
The Unknown Truth The ProphecyIn ancient times the most powerful mages came together, in a Place of Power, reading the stars to find the way. To become the one of ultimate magic that was spoken of in the old tales. This gift of magic was undying, unwavering, and everlasting. After many years, they found what would lead them on in their hunt. That the way to become the ultimate one, is it fine something as undying, unwavering, and everlasting as the magic it self.
What else they found was another prophecy. The second prophecy foretold of an oddity that baffled them.
Travelers of other lands shall protect ones of their bloods.
Unable to understand why the stars had given this message to them, they had their pages write it on a scroll and put it away. Several witches and wizards attempted to be come the one that was foretold, failing in the process, and death claimed them. The Council of Elders forbade any from seeking to gain that gift, when to many good people died for it.
For hundreds of years the prophecy and scroll were kept a secret, until they were lost and forgotten. More time went by and the scroll with the two prophecies lay in a chamber with nothing but dust. Lost in time, it would seem that the prophecies would never be found and read ever again. But something happen that the stars them self did not see. A young man of the M.O.M. came a crossed the chamber that held that very scroll of legend.
Over the time the scroll was written, the warning was to damage to read. The prophecies remain.
The man took the scroll to the ministry and gave it to the minister of magic. "Well, what do we have here?" Mr. Fudge said as he sat behind his oversized desk one evening. He hand waiting for the offered scroll.
"Mr. Fudge, I think that is the scroll of the ancients. I read what was on it when I came a crossed them." The young man said.
"That is just a story Percy." Fudge said with a little laugh as he opened the scroll. What he saw shocked him, dropping the scroll on his desks. "Percy your right, it is the forgotten scroll." Staring at the paper on his desk in disbelief, his mouth dry, Mr. Fudge could not think of what more to say.
"Well what should we do sir?" Percy fidgeted in place. These scrolls were the stuff of fairy tales. To have accidently come across them as he did was a one in a million chance.
After a long pause, Mr. Fudge found his voice. "We must put in the hall. Now go and make sure no one knows. We need to keep it safe." Fudge said with his hands trembling, scratching out a note, he continued. "This is just between you and me."
Percy could only nod in reply.

Thank you for reading! The other chapters will gain in length. As this is the prologue, I felt it was an ok size to keep short.
