I married her because she had six silver teaspoons,
She didn't have any knives or forks.
I married her because she had silver candlesticks,
She didn't have any candles.
I had the choice but married for money,
I thought she was quite well off,
It's a decision that's haunted me every day
From now onto forever.
Why did I ever marry her?
We argue all the while.
I said I'd love her till the end of time,
Now I'm just wishing for that time to come.
