Chapter one : The beginning..

On the fateful night of October the 31st Mrs Dursleys Sister Lily Evans gave her life for her little girl.

But that wasn't the beginning of the story.

Dora Isabella Black was a pure-blood witch of the ancient and most noble house of Black. The Blacks were known to be the last descendants if lady Ravenclaw herself although no one but the Blacks knew the truth to this statement.

Dora was everything a pure-blood man wanted. She had beautiful dark red hair and sea green eyes which contrasted against her creaming white skin. She was talented in music and many arts such as painting and swordsman ship.

Charles Potter was the one who stole the beautiful women's heart. A messy haired man with hazel eyes which shone with happiness.

The two ended up married and had two children together. Petunia Isabella Potter was the oldest child. Her hair was blonde like her mother's mother and her eyes were hazel like her fathers. James Charles Potter the next child, who matched his father in looks apart from the creaming skin, as the oldest male child he was heir to the most ancient and most noble house of Potter.

Shortly after James birth however Charles died. Dora in her grief wasted away until she met a dark and handsome man. He went to Durmstang in his school years and was highly charming and intelligent. For the first time since her husband had died she was able to smile and laugh. All too soon however everything went Cold. The man she thought her light to dark turned out to be shade from the light. He was cruel and evil be time she broke it off with him, she was already pregnant. She that summer Lillian Mary Grindalward was born almost a year after her half-brother.

Dora knew she would be in danger if anyone knew her really name and so Lillian became Lily Marie Evans. The name Evans came from a girl she met in the muggle world before her marriage to Charles. She was a good friend and was petunias god-mother

With only three short years with her youngest daughter her time had also came to an end.

Petunia and Lily were sent to Daphne Evans were she cared for them in muggle world. She rose the children if they were her own with her husband Mark Evans.

James was sent to his aunt and uncle William Potter and Mary Potter. He was also brought up well.

The three siblings didn't find out the relation until Petunias 5th year. She attended the French school for magic Beauxbatons. Every magical child at the age fifthteen was to be tested for heritage so when the time came they would be able to show there lines to the family they are wishing to marry into. This included muggle-borns because they could be adopted if they were born out of wedlock or through an affair. Sometimes Squibs had magical children and these children could claim on the family lines were the parents could not.

James, Petunia and Lily were close as ever from that point. James and Petunia kept secret of Lily's father as he had been defeated just after their mother had died. There was a bigger threat with Voldemort anyway.

James was a Gryffindor and Lily was a Ravenclaw they had their own friends but they met up in secret mainly to help with Remus on a full moon. Lily's best friend Severus Snape was also part of their group although in public they seem to hate each other.

James went on to marry a muggle-born from Ravenclaw and one of lily's best friends Mai Granger. The had a daughter Hermione Jean granger-Potter

Petunia had a fling with Sirius although they both had black parentage they were distantly related. Sirius was a bit of a player though so Petunia left the magical world and married a muggle man named Vernon Dursley she did not speak to her brother or half-sister again.

Lily became engaged to Severus however it had to be kept a secret as Severus was a death eater and a spy for the light. Lily became pregnant however and things began to change.

Dumbledore who they thought previously was a powerful light wizard was mad. Lily and James began to see through his mask when he got angry at order meetings. Dumbledore ordered people who were suspected death eaters to be murdered in their homes. Some of these people were just pure-bloods who followed the old ways. Dumbledore was re- writing laws that got rid of old wizard traditions things like Samhain were now Halloween. Anyone found practicing these traditions were killed or thrown in Azkaban.

It got worse however when Dumbledore found out Lily's parentage. He kept her captive for almost 4 months before finally letting her go with promise that when Voldermort was defeated she would answer to her crime.

Her baby was born shortly after and she was named Isabella Roselyn Lillian Evans. After that Lily was going to leave the country but then came the prophesy which meant they needed they had to agree with Dumbledore or he would get the message across who the child of the prophecy was and the contents. Not wanted her bay in more danger or letting Voldermort know the she agreed. She tried to break free because of this Dumbledore let information slip into Voldermort hands but only enough to go after her daughter.

When Voldermort finally came after her because of Peter, James tried to protect his nice and sister but died. Voldermort gave Lily the chance to live because of her father but she wouldn't give up her baby and died for it. When Voldermort cast the curse to kill little Isabella it rebounded and left her with only a lightning bolt scar.

When Mrs Dursley opened her door on a cold November morning she found a baby girl with letter explaining her sister and brother had been killed and that Isabella was the only one that lived she cried until she saw Isabella's eyes open. Her sisters eyes looked back her with curiosity and love. She vowed she would do the best for her Sister Child.
