A walk in the park
This is my first FanFiction, it is a one-shot, set on Easter Sunday. Just in case anyone is confused, Stuart Critchley (Series 1&2) and Tom are cousins in this. Also, Rose and Stuart are dating, Tom and Aneisha yet to become an official couple. Anyway, enough of my talking; enjoy
Tom Tupper put down the phone. He had been on the phone to cousin, Stuart, because they were going to meet up in the park. He called to his brother that he was going out for a couple of hours. He heard his brother grunt a response. He walked out of the door to the park.
Aneisha Jones put down the phone. Tom had just texted her to say he was on his way to Yalehill park and did she want to come, and that his cousin would be there too. Aneisha had replied almost immediately, yes she would love to come, and she would be there in ten minutes. She was really pleased that Tom was introducing her to his family. It made her feel that maybe, just maybe, he considered them an item. They were not girlfriend and boyfriend, they were unofficially dating. Aneisha knew that this was a sign that he wanted to take their relationship to the next level.
Stuart Critchley put down the phone and then picked it back up again, dialling another number. It was Rose's number. It rang three times before it was answered. "Me and my cousin are meeting up at Yalehill park, want to come? Okay, see you there in ten minutes. Love you." Stuart put down the phone and grabbed his coat. Although it was April, it was still a bit chilly.
Rose Gupta put down the phone. She walked through to the hallway and grabbed a scarf. She checked her watch. She had ten minutes to get to the park.
Tom walked through the gates of Yalehill park, he spotted Stuart standing a little way off.
"Hi, is Aneisha coming?", Stuart asked his cousin. He had heard a lot about Aneisha.
"Yeah, she'll be here soon, oh, there she is." Aneisha walked over to where the two boys were standing.
"So this is Stuart?" she asked Tom
"Yeah, the famous Stuart. Stuart Aneisha, Aneisha Stuart" he replied. Then he saw a figure in the distance.
"Rose!" he exclaimed. He and Rose had met last year at an M.I.9 conference. Frank had introduced them.
"Wait, you two know each other?" asked Stuart, confused. He had never been told that his girlfriend was M.I.9, or that his cousin was M.I.9 as well.
Rose, Tom and Aneisha looked at each other. Stuart might as well know. He and Rose were unofficially engaged, so he would have to find out about Rose's job sooner or later. Tom figured it might as well be sooner.
"Stuart," began Rose "You know how I was always missing classes, well, that's because I work for M.I.9. Me, Daisy and Blane were part of the M.I. High project, which was training teenagers to become spies. Now I work for M.I.9 full time, and Tom and Aneisha are part of the new M.I. High team."
"Oh" was all Stuart could say. It was a lot to take in.
Once Stuart had gotten over the shock of the news, he had a billion and one questions to ask. Tom and Aneisha left Rose to answer them, as they walked over to the pond. Tom gulped. He really, really wanted to ask Aneisha something, but he didn't know how she would react. In the end he just didn't need to say anything.
"Hey, Tupper, will you go out with me? said Aneisha abruptly.
"Yes!" said Tom, pleased that he didn't have to do the asking.
The happy couple linked hands and walked back over to Rose and Stuart.
'This has to be the best Easter ever' was what each of them were thinking.
So what do you guys think. I know it's short, and probably rubbish, but I'd like to hear people's honest opinions on this. I would have liked to post it earlier in the day, but I was busy all day. Please review -
