A/N: Just a little something I was talking about with my roommates, and thought I'd write it up as a short one shot. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :p
"What are we going to do?" Clary asked, running her fingers through her messy hair.
"I'm not sure," Jace frowned, "Clearly we can't keep running to the Clave with this stuff. I mean, Victoria and Dakota seem to have it covered for the time being- Alec, what the hell have you got there?"
His face was confused as he walked into the room staring at an envelope, "I'm not sure… It's a letter from Magnus."
"From Magnus? Why's he sending you a letter?" Simon asked from on top of Jace's bed.
Isabelle wrapped her arms around his shoulders, "Because he loves him, and Alec hasn't gotten a new phone?"
"You live right by each other, practically with each other-" Simon protested, and Isabelle rolled her eyes and covered his mouth with her hand.
Alec shrugged and slid his finger under the seal.
And glitter exploded everywhere.
A look of surprise was evident on everyone's faces.
"What in Raziel's name…" Alec stared at the teal glitter covering him, the floor and most of the people in the room.
"Well this is completely ridiculous," Jace spat glitter onto the floor.
Inside was a small letter in Magnus' scrawling hand, "I hope this reminds you of me, with as much love as there is glitter, Magnus."
"Augh, I can't believe-" Alec threw the envelope on the ground, "This is just… It's over everything, everything! Why would he think Id like this?!"
Jace was staring at him with an eyebrow raised.
"Because you like it."
"I do not!"
"Alec, my parabatai, you totally find this adorable."
"Jace, how many times-"
"Do you have to tell me not to betray you like this?" Jace shook his head, dispelling teal all over his lap, "By the angel, how much was in there?"
Alec grinned, completely out of character, "Approximately an amount close to how much Magnus loves me?"
"So a lot then," Clary sighed.
