"Wait… Listen."

He leaned to get closer to her, closing his optic lids as he places his lips against hers. His spark cackled warmly. His insides just about lit up. She made him feel like a trembling fool; with a simple smile, a quick chuckle, a gentle touch from her heavenly hand; but he loved the rush. There was no greater feeling than the emotions she gave him. He hoped he gave what she gave him.

An immediate smile was on his face. "Did you hear it? That kiss spoke volumes…"

A smile was on the azure femme's face, though Knock Out could sense a hint of uneasiness behind the joy.

"Really," chuckled Arcee. "What did it say?"

He kissed her brow, rocking into their embrace. Being in the grasp of her arms felt like eternity. He wished this moment could last forever.

"It said… Arcee loves you very much and wants to run away with you."

To a place where they only knew, a place that was without faction and war, they wouldn't have to hold their romance in fear. They wouldn't have to worry about hiding anything. A place where when they held hands, even kiss, there wouldn't be the expected rain of bullets coming from each side.

They could find that together.

"That's not what I heard…" Arcee spoke.

His train of thought just about crashed. Did he actually hear that, or did his audios played tricks on him? They weren't on the same page. What made her say that she disagreed with him?

"What I heard was, a little voice saying… abandon everyone you know, leave Earth without an explanation to anyone. Leave behind the first human friend who has an extremely short life span, and not have any more memories of him before he passes. Give up any hope of a normal life and live out the rest of our lives while everyone has to fight this ridiculous war…"

Even though what she said contradicted what he previously felt, she gently tightened her embrace around him. At least she showed him he was on his side.

As her head rested on his chest, her cyan optics looked up to glance into his own ruby ones.

"I love you, Knock Out, and I want to make this work, it's just… I wish there was an easier way out of all this."

Resting his optics, he slowly placed his own head on top of hers. Everything was so perfect right now. They planned everything so that nobody could find out about their moonlighting romance. All that work, all that hiding and cover ups just to be together… It would be easier if they scraped it and went their separate ways, but a single thought without seeing her the next day, he couldn't conclude it. He needed her. Without her, he wouldn't be half the mech he was if they weren't together.

He loved her.

Letting her go would be his greatest regret if it was the last thing he did.
