A Very Special 33

In the midst of battle, companions falling and blood spilling, what is there? What hope or significance to a tiny human life? I shall tell you. For every life is a spark and every Games is a pool of water. These games will be special though, very special indeed. SYOT open.

1. The Start

Being Head Gamemaker isn't easy, you know. I live in constant fear of stepping out of line; of making the games so brilliant that Districts will rebel again. I don't even know how anything will turn out this year, after all 33 is a very special number and the Capitol knows it.
"Caius, we have the tributes list. I don't know whether you've seen them or not but we have a really interesting bunch this year... You might want to check out the tapes" Suggests my assistant as he nudges the list towards me. "Will that be all?" Fabricius asks and I nod him out before peaking at the list.
Oh it's going to be a very interesting year this time, very interesting indeed...

Hello! As you may have guessed (or may not have, but prizes if you did) this is a SYOT.
