Thirty years ago, the Allied Shinobi Forces defeated the resurrected Madara Uchiha and put an end to Project Tsuki No Me. The Ten-Tails was split back into the nine tailed beasts, all of whom were allowed to roam in the wild, free of any jinchūriki.

Soon afterwards, Tsunade stepped down as Hokage and Naruto Uzumaki was named the Sixth Hokage. Years later, Naruto married Hinata Hyūga and, much to their delight, had a beautiful young boy with Naruto's eyes.
Sasuke Uchiha and the rest of Taka split up after the war was won. Sasuke was granted pardon for all his crimes thanks to his role in the Fourth Shinobi World War. He soon became a Leaf shinobi and eventually fathered two children with Sakura Haruno.
Maito Gai made a full recovery following his Eight Gates Released Formation thanks to the power given to Naruto by the Sage of the Six Paths. He is now stronger than ever and back to being a jōnin leader.
An elite team of shinobi from Konoha was sent out on a search mission for Yamato a few days after the end of the war. After weeks, the team succeeded in finding and freeing the Wood Style user. Yamato was treated for his injuries and returned to his Anbu duties after recovering.
Shikamaru Nara became Naruto's most trusted adviser and is in a long-term relationship with Sunagakure's Temari. Their relationship has tightened the bond between Konohagakure and Sunagakure.
Obito Uchiha died on the battlefield and was given a war hero's funeral. He was later buried in Konoha's cemetery, right next to former team-mate Rin Nohara.
Ōnoki passed away from old age years after the war. He died with a smile on his face and the right to be known as "The Longest-Lasting Kage." His son, Kitsuchi, took on the mantle of Fourth Tsuchikage.
Orochimaru mysteriously disappeared after the Fourth Shinobi World War. The five Kage debated whether or not to search for him, but eventually decided not to pursue the missing-nin.

They have become very popular recently, and many well-known shinobi are known to own Pokémon, including Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake.
However, one rogue clan of shinobi has found a dark and evil purpose for Pokémon. The Kanemaru clan has the special ability to communicate with Pokémon on another level, and even completely control them. They believe that if they can control all the Pokémon and make them turn against their ninja masters, they can take over the nations and mold the world however they wish.
The five great nations recognize the threat that the Kanemaru clan possesses, and have formed multiple teams of shinobi and their Pokémon to eliminate the rogue ninja. However, it won't be as easy as it seems, for the Kanemaru clan has a bloody ambition and a secret plan that has yet to reveal itself.
This story follows the tale of Takao Kimura, a sixteen-year-old shinobi living in Konoha.
