Snowflakes

Snowflakes can be happy
Or snowflakes can be sad.
Snowflakes can be safety
Or snowflakes can be mad.
When the time comes
For snowflakes to be happy
You know it's time for kisses
And saying something sappy.
But when happy time is over
And snowflakes are so sad
It's cause she's mad at you
After you did something bad.
Way up in the mountains
Snowflakes can be safety
A place to sit and wait
For the coming baby.
And then another mood
When snowflakes are really mad
Until she shyly gives a smile
And you know you have been had.
When summer rolls around
And you don't know what's real or fake
Just remember the peace of winter
And wish there were some snowflakes.
