Is it that simple?

Disclaimer: I do not own Peanuts at all
Reason for Writing: I dunno. I was just thinking what would happen if Lucy left and never came back. Would Schroeder go crazy without his muse, or just ignore it? Meh, just read the story. :3
Warning: Contains…Romance? Violence? Fluff? I don't know yet…
It was summer time, August 13th to be exact. Charlie Brown was eating ice cream, trying to avoid Snoopy, he beagle. Linus was sitting in the park with his blanket sucking his thumb, and she could see Sally jumping rope. A girl with a usual blue dress and dark hair shoved herself through the door of a white house, making no sound. She was around eight years. The girl sat down and leaned against a toy piano, listening to the music.
A boy with blonde hair and a purple striped shirt paid no attention to the girl. He was staring down at his fingers and the keys on his piano.
"Beethoven's fifth, right Schroeder?" the girl asked. She drummed her fingers on the piano, only to be answered with a simple nod. "Schroeder, how come you never pay attention to me?" she asked. The piano playing stopped and Schroeder looked up for once.
"Because, Lucy, you always throw yourself at me. Your crabby and selfish and you come into my house, sit at the edge of the piano, and start asking me ridiculous questions and fantasize you and I getting married." he replied. Schroeder started playing once again from where he stopped.
"See, that's what I mean. You're too busy playing your stupid old piano that you don't pay any attention to me! That's why I tried to get rid of it!" Lucy protested.
Schroeder didn't look up. He and Lucy always got into these fights, but she always came back to him.
"That's it, Schroeder! I'm leaving and never coming back!" she growled.
Schroeder looked up at her. "Maybe you should! It's not like I'll ever care about you! Get out!" Those were the last words he said before Lucy slammed his door shut, muttering under her breath. Finally! Now maybe I can get some peace and quiet. He knew Lucy would just come back the next day and pretend this never happened, right? Was it that simple to her?
Lucy sighed and walked over to her psychiatrist booth. She flipped over the paper from out to in. Moments later, Charlie Brown, a big headed, bald, wishy-washy kid, came and sat down on the small chair. Lucy leaned back and put her feet on the table with her hands behind her head. "And what can I do for you, Charlie Brown?" she asked.
"Well, I've been thinking about the red-haired girl a lot lately. I'm thinking about going over to her and saying hi but I've been to shy to do it. Can you help me?" he asked.
Lucy froze. Her eye twitched and she sat in the chair properly. "You know what you should do, Charlie Brown? Do you want to know?" she asked.
"Yes."
"Forget about her!" Lucy cried, standing in the chair and holding her fist in the air. Her scream made Charlie Brown fall back on the sidewalk. "If she doesn't care about you, never speak to her again! Just forget! Don't ever go to her house again! Don't lay on her piano ever again! Never even look at her!" she cried. With that, Lucy sat back down in her chair and clapped her hands together. "Five cents please."
Charlie Brown stared at her wide eyed. What was she even talking about? "Okay…?" He dropped a nickel into the tin can and stood up to leave.
"Ah, I give the best advice." Lucy reassured herself, leaning back again.
Well, I hoped you like my first Peanuts story. Did you? Review and tell me how I could improve it, or any spelling errors and stuff. I also tried to keep the characters as in character as possible, but I think I failed at that with Schroeder. :/
Also, it's a little short, but that's because I didn't want to gove a lot away yet. Still, I hope you like. :)
