She had awoken in the night with a feeling of dread, She had had a nightmare but she couldn't remember it, or shake off the feeling of empty sadness. All she knew was that something bad was happening.
She got up, careful not to wake her husband and went down to the kitchen to brew something to drink, and then she heard it.
A faint, high laugh that left her spine in shivers. She wanted to run, she knew who's laugh that was. She began to run to the door, but just as she was about to open it, the door flung open on it's own accord.
"W-who's there?" She asked, her voice trembling.
"Is this where Mr. Potter lives?" The man... no... snake asked mockingly, taking one menacing step into the house.
"Stay away! Leave us alone!" She tried to scream, but it came out as a whisper.
"I can't do that little flower... now step aside, I have an appointment with Potter"
"Stay away from my family!" She managed to yell, screaming with all her might, and a whirl of winds came up. the last thing she remembered was all going blank.
Petunia Dursley woke up from a nightmare, she couldn't quite remember it. All she could remember was the color red and a cold, high laugh.
'It's nothing, she told herself, and went downstairs to brew some tea.
