Disclaimer: I don't own Narnia or any of its charaters, and I don't own the song He Lives In You. But I wish I had it all!

Three days since the Battle of Beruna, and I am not ready to rule. Well, at least I'm not Peter. He has to be High King, and that has to be worse than being a regular king, right? Susan will be well prepared, as always. And I'm sure Lucy will get along, being cute and innocent and all. I envy her. And Susan. And Peter! Sort of. He'll have lots more responsibilities.

Now we are walking through this big hall. Lucy and Peter are on the outsides, then Susan and me, then Aslan. I look up at Oreius as we walk by. He has a reassuring look on his face. Maybe I can be a king.

Now were all in front of our thrones. The beavers walk up to us, followed my Mr. Tumnus. The beavers have the crows. Mr. Tumnus takes a little silver crown with leaves and puts it on Lucy's head. Aslan says,

"To the glistening Eastern Sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant." Lucy! Valiant! Yes, she is. Now Mr. Tumnus takes another crown and I gulp, knowing I'm next in line. It is silver like Lucy's but not shaped the same. I bow slightly as Mr. Tumnus places the crown on my head and then rise. And I can't help but smile.

"To the great Western Wood, King Edmund, the Just." Me? Just? What has the world come to? Maybe Aslan is only giving me a good title so that I can fit in with the others. But I am going to try to live up to it, no matter how much I deserve it in the end!

Now Mr. Tumnus has a golden crown with flowers. He walks up to Susan and places it on her head.

"To the radiant southern sun, Queen Susan the Gentle." Aslan says, smiling. Yes, Susan is gentle!

He lives in you; he lives in me
He watches over everything we see.
Into the water! Into the truth!
In your reflection… he lives in you

Mr. Tumnus takes the final crown, a golden circlet with intricate and beautiful designs. Peter kneels to receive it. And as he now rises, Aslan states,

"And to the clear northern sky, I give you King Peter the Magnificent." I watch with pride as he stands. I would never have admitted it before I entered Narnia, but now I realize… Yes. He is Magnificent. And he is my older brother as well. If I have him, Susan, and Lucy by my side, I now realize, I am able to rule. With them. Now all the Narnians chant,

"Long live King Peter! Long live King Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!" I smile as the cheer for Lucy is loudest.

He lives in you; he lives in me!
He watches over everything we see!
Into the water! Into the truth!
In your reflection… he lives in you.

Narnia was already feeling like home.
