uh, just a random oneshot of violet trying to get over the fact Quigley was swept away from her by the river or whatever in book 10(TSS); takes place in book 11(TGG).
oh and ASOUE and it's charactes don't belong to me. If it/they did, the story would be way different and it probably wouldn't be appropriate for kiddies under 12 XD

Every night the dream was the same. Violet and her siblings would encounter the submarine, and enter it just like in reality. Only this time, it was Quigley instead of Captain Widdershins greeting them. "Quigley!" Violet would cry and rush into his open arms "I promise we will never be apart again,Violet."(A/N-cheesy, i know . deal with it.) Quigley would say and Violet would weep openly in his arms, so happy to be reunited with the boy she fell in love with in the distressing peeks of the Mortmain Mountains. Then, Quigley would pull away from Violet, head towards the hatch and exit the submarine. "Quigley! No Quigley please don't leave me again!" She would cry over the rushing water. "Violet..." a voice called over the water. "Quigley!" Violet screamed. "Violet! Wake up Violet..." "Huh? but i-i'm not sleeping!" she said as her eyes opened to reveal her brother standing over her. "Violet, are you alright?" "Yes, i think so"She replied sleepily. "Ok, you woke the whole ship up with you screaming" He told her gently. Violet didn't reply. She was to lost in her own thoughts to say anything. As the rest of the crew went back to their beds, and Violet layed back down and put her face down on her pillow. "Quigley...why? Why did you have to leave me?" She said to herself. A single tear escaped her eye and rolled down her cheek as she continued sobbing and praying that Quigley was alive and managed to reach somewhere safe."I love you Quigley..." Violet muttered before once again drifting back into a restless, dream-filled sleep.

nyah! hope you enjoyed it even though it was shortttttt! this was my first attempt at writing a fanfic, so if it's awful(I know it is, but tell me anyway), please tell me and i promise i'll make any other fanfics much better ^_^
-and btw, Quiglet is just so cute! Screw Violet/Duncan,Violet and Quigley were so meant for each other :D
