It was a nice hot summer day in Iwami Cho. Kimiko Tsuna slowly crawled out of her bed and opened the curtains to let the sun light up her room. She smiled knowing it was going to be a perfect day for a swim…right after school of course. "Ugh school" she sighed as she got ready wishing she could just skip all her classes to do her most loved sport.

Just as she walked into her classroom the bell rang telling her class was starting. She quickly shuffled to her seat and pulled out her notebook to jot down some dreaded school assignments. The day went by as slowly as it could have, but once that glorious bell rang again screaming at her to leave she jumped up from her seat, grabbed her belongings, and sprinted to the pool a few blocks away.

Immediately, Kimiko felt at home as she lovingly stared down at the calm blue water quietly sitting in the lonely pool. She could feel the tug of the water, begging her to dive into it. She complied and dove right in. The feel of the water against her skin felt amazing, she loved being there and never wanted to leave...until…SPLASH! Gallons of water sprayed her face ruining the connection.

"AHHH!" she screamed as she turns around to face the person who splashed her.

"Haha you should have seen your face Kimiko" Koji said smiling with a goofy grin on his face.

(Koji was one of the most annoying boy from her school. He often made fun of her and never left her alone. Kimiko hated him because he always ruined stuff for her, just like now when he ruined her perfect moment in the water.)

"What do you want Koji?" Kimiko spit in his face with disgust as she wiped the water out of her eyes.

"Just to annoy you Ki-mi-ko" he said still smiling like a lunatic.

"Fine then be that way" she huffed.

Slowly, she climbed out of the pool dreading to leave it behind, but she had to go because if Koji was there, she would not have a good time, and she didn't want to have ANY bad memories in the water. Kimiko started to walk towards her house as she heard a faint "Splash". She could swear it came from the Iwatobi High School…but they don't have a swimming team, not even her own high school had one. As curiosity got the better of her she silently walked up to the school and peaked over the corner. What she saw amazed her. The Iwatobi High School had a pool in the back…and not only that but it was clean and filled with beautiful blue water that shined against the sun. Not only did she find the pool but…4 boys swimming in it.

"Oh no…I`m so not going there especially if there are...boys" she shuddered to herself.

She continued to watch them anyways. She stared in awe as they all practiced their swimming with grace. She started to lean over more to get a better view…but before she knew it she had tripped over a water hose and had fallen right in front of the boys. They all looked at her in shock. Kimiko felt her cheeks burn as she started to stand up…
