Submerge Into the Wind

A poem dedicated to the Princesses of Neptune and Uranus. If you have a hard time distinguishing who’s “thinking” some of the lines, that was done on purpose; they are two beings merged into one from my point of view in this poem.

Submerge Into the Wind

Says the sky to the ocean
"You are my mirror"
Says the ocean to the sky
"You are my soul"
Enraptured by reflection
Let the water fall from the sky
Let the water burn into the sky
The salty air must be the sweet scent of sweat
Joined adamantly
Joined eternally
Can I drown in you?
Just don't let me fall
And if I am to fall
Enfold me in your wings
Let me caress you with my cold touches
Where the wind touches the water
Let me kiss you with feather soft zephyrs
Where the water touches the wind.
