This is a one-shot that I just got an idea out of the blue for. This is my first one-shot and writing in first person, so go easy on me. I am not sure exactly how good this is but I just wanted to write it since it involves my two favourite characters. I might be planing a story revolving around this two but it still in planing. Consider this as a small segment or opening to the story I want to write.

Witches of the Night Sky
Why? Is what a lot of people ask me. Why do I purposely take the night shift when I don't need to? Why go through all the trouble of sleeping through the day and stay up all night?
Is it because I like the dark or because I like the feel of the night breeze on my skin? Is it for the beautiful scene of the stars and the moon or to be able to relax above the clouds?
When they ask why, I say it is all of the above and yet not the real true reason why I fly at night.
The real reason is so I can hear it. The beautiful song that makes my heart throb and my being melt. It makes me feel relaxed and forget about the war happening around me. It makes me forget all the sad times and remember the happy times. Mostly, it makes me feel that I can survive and bring peace to the world.
As long as I fly next to her and her song, I know that I am safe and that this person will be by my side. Through all the happy and sad times, this person will be their for me and I will be their for her. I will support her on and off the battlefield.
I will be her arms and legs, her sword and shield, but most of all I will be her friend.
The friend of the ghost that walks in the night and rests in the day. The being that no one seems to notice much except me.
"Eila, is everything alright?" the ghost witch of the night says.
"Everything's alright Sanya" is all I say as I smile at my companion as we fly together through the night sky.
End. So what did you think? I would say this one-shot takes place before the first series. Basically it follows the idea of Eila and Sanya meeting at a different location before becoming members of the 501st division. After meeting they form a strong friendship and they help one another out when needed. Well then please review and let me know what you think.
