The Child Spirit: A Story About a Disney Land Ghost

When I was a kid, I went to Disneyland with my mother. Though this may be the dream of most kids in the same situation. it wasn't the same for yours truly. she only did it because she felt obligated, and she knew I would owe her a huge debt. She never really thought I was worthy of her love. I reminded her too much of my dad i guess. I could understand why she wouldn't want to remember that gruff, drunkard of an ex lover she got pregnant with at 15. the only reason she ever took me there was probably so I could get lost so I could be someone else's problem. I was always a pile of trash to her, a no good bastard is what they called me.

Making up my mind, I decided to abandon my dear sweet mother one day and go off on my own for good. when she was busy getting cotton candy in ToonTown for insatiable fat ass. I ran away from her. I made my way through a crowd of people, trying not to hit anyone as I pass. I was almost to New Orleans square where, out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something: A boy about my age. he wore a simple striped shirt and jeans. he looked tired, but his demeanor seemed to cover that up. He seemed to be floating on Tom Sawyer River. he smiled at me, which left me paralyzed, not in fear, but in shock. I heard a faint giggle; he was laughing. A chill of cold hit me on the hottest day of the year. a voice kept saying in my head "Join me...the water is fine."

Something compelled me to listen...I was entranced. my body moved step by step towards the child. the voice became louder and louder, to the point where it was deafening on my ears. as I reached the water. I was surprised that I actually stood on the water. I laughed as the cold rush tickled my back. I know the reaction doesn't seem appropriate, but I seemed to be in a state of euphoria, almsot like i was on a cloud. even though he began to grin and show off his missing, yellowed teeth, I giggled and said "You are a nice boy, A very nice boy.."

His giggles got louder in my brain until he finally spoke again "Come with me under the water." I had no choice but to follow him as I was dragged into the water. I had no trouble breathing which sent me on edge. I didn't know if I was spirit or human anymore. as I battled with my confusion, the boy had led me deep into the water, which seemed to be strewn with various trash and lost Dinsney Souvenirs. It seemed deeper than normal, seeming to go down forever. As the child led me down, I noticed I saw less and less. I start to panic as I had a fear of the dark. a faint laughing, deep and unsettling , surrounded my being as I tried in vain to struggle to the surface. I was trapped.

After a while I was completely blind. I started screaming as I saw a flash of a deranged Mickey. his teeth wer sharp and menacing, his eyes were missing. his fur was ruffled and scarred. I screamed as he descended upon me. I was completely powerless as he kept suffocating me whith his large, tattered gloves. he kept yelling "You are a naughty child, naughty children get punished."

He salivated on me as he started biting and gnawing on my flesh. my arms were gone, followed by my legs. I was completely torn apart as he laughed and laughed...My light began to fade as I passed out. after a while I came too...I was dead. I had become a damned spirit because of my foolishness. I smiled and giggled. I was completely gone. I rose out of the black of water to find more children with my new friend. together, we will punish all the naughty children.
