Balassar, with his dual bolter pistols and rune blades, finds rhythm in the tide of battle and, with help of his bionic eye, is extremely logical. But the bionic eye comes with a price. Balassar will fight through his reflexes, unable to handle the massive amounts of visual input, and at times unable to distinguish friend from foe.
Azhar's power fist and flamer shows his impulsive need for violence. His Terminator armor riddled with bullet holes from his last mission.
The Twins with their average layout of weapons and armor show their average ability to fight. But underneath the average armor lies great and power psychic power. Urseren has the ability to absorb energies from any source he chooses. While Tersis has a gift for healing repairing wounds, with the energy his brother gathers, that are bound to happen with the constant fighting. Both twins are extremely faithful to the Emperor and follow the Codex word for word. They believe victory can only be reached through extreme faith and following the Codex.
Banareth carries the squad's supporting psycannon. He has high standards for the squad but can be extremely arrogant at times believing he is right more than others.
