Bolin slept restlessly that night. It was ridiculous the reason why. Tonight should have been the night he slept soundly. Korra had gotten her bending back and Amon was finally out of the picture. Republic City belonged to them. That was the problem though. Amon was out of the picture, but where he had gone, no one knew. He had escaped with Tarrlok. Bolin was worrying about where Amon was now. If there was anything Bolin knew about Amon, it was that he had a lust for revenge.

Bolin tossed and turned in his bed. He had just woken up from his second nightmare that night. He shook his head angrily at himself. The last time he had a nightmare was three years ago on the anniversary of his parents death. He was too old for nightmares now. The window was open, another thing that was making Bolin nervous. He padded on bare feet across the floor and shut the window. He knew that if Amon really wanted to get into his room, he could just break the window, but it calmed Bolin's nervous.

The sky was clear and Bolin could count every star if he wanted to. He started with the ones closest to the moon. The counting made him drowsy, and often he had to start over because he lost count. His eyes were drifting closed and Bolin rested his elbows on the windowsill, starting to finally fall asleep. He was awakened by the opening of his door. Before Bolin could react, he was brought to his knees. Some part of him realized he was getting blood bended, and his first thoughts were of Amon. His nightmares were coming true.

Bolin struggled against Amon, trying his hardest to bend the earth. His attempts were futile. Amon turned Bolin's body around to face him. What Bolin saw made his face turn white. Mako was withering on the ground next to Amon, his eyes wide with agony. Bolin tried to shout out to Mako, but Amon prevented him from doing so.

Bolin had only heard Amon speak in person a few times, but his voice was higher pitched than Bolin remembered.

"Nice to see you again, Bolin. It was such a shame that you escaped my clutches all those days ago. It won't happen again, I promise you. Mako and Korra already-" Amon couldn't finish his sentence. He doubled over with laughter, breaking his hold on both Mako and Bolin.

Bolin sat stunned, confused by the turn of events. Suddenly Amon took off his mask and Bolin saw Korra's face where a man's face was supposed to be.

"You should have seen your face!" shouted Korra, laughing and pointing at Bolin. Mako had gotten to his feet and was laughing as well.

Bolin felt extremely embarrassed.

"You guys owe me a new pair of underwear," grumbled Bolin. He got to his feet and crawled back into his bed, pulling the covers over his head.

"Aw, come on Bo," said Mako, feeling a little guilty for scaring his little brother so bad. "It was just a prank."

"Get out!" called Bolin from under the covers. "I need time to think about ways to get you two back."

Korra and Mako left, still laughing over how good they got Bolin.
