Chapter 1:
Somewhere in Sydney...
Alice's POV
"Alice! Wake up!" I heard my grandma's voice. "I'm awake." I answered as she opened the door.
"Get ready! Today's a big day!" She said, filled with excitement. ~How exciting could a moving be?~ I asked myself.
"Oh yeah.. I'm excited to meet 'my sister' and the father who left me 13 years ago.." I replied sarcastically.
"Give him a chance. Your mom didn't tell him that you were born."
Meanwhile in the Gold Coast...
Marissa's POV
It was a rather.. Warm morning, and I was already up, getting ready for my morning run; but before that, I had to check on one of my friends: Zac Blakely.
He had said that he was going to camp in Mako Island, and to be honest, I didn't know the secrets that island held.
"Maya?" I asked as I hurried downstairs.
"Yes darling?" My aunt, Maya, replied with a question.
"Has Lauren called yet?" I asked.
"No darling." My aunt answered. "Oh. Thank you anyway." I said before I grabbed the fishing gear Zac had asked me for and hurried to his bungalow.
I ran as fast as I could to get to Zac's bungalow, but when I was about to reach it, I saw Evie coming out of it. "He's not there." She said.
"So... What should I do?" And to be honest, I didn't want to swim to THAT island ALONE.
"Oh. Don't worry. I heard David gave him the fishing gear," my best friend, Evie, smiled.
I have been Evie's best friend since we where in middle school... And then, in high school, my grade-school best friend, Zac, started dating with Evie. They're so happy together! About me.. I prefer to not date for NOW. Last relationship did hurt me a lot, and you know, it's hard to keep a relationship when you have to hide who you really are.
"So.. When's your sister arriving?" I asked.
"Today. Wait. Today?! Oh! I got to go! I had completely forgotten about her!" Evie said nervously and quickly as I tried not to laugh.
So that was it for today guys!
