Selim and Denise (The Future Mrs. Bradley) walked towards central. As they walked, Selim looked to Denise and inspected her demeanor. She looked so caring, so selfless...the fact that she would go so far out of her way to help a little boy astounded him. Suddenly, in the middle of their walking, Selim stopped. "What is it? Is something wrong?" Denise asked. "Well, I was just wondering...Why are you helping me? I could be leading you into a trap. I could be decieveing you. How do you know I'm not a bad kid?" He asked, honestly wondering all of the things he asked. In response to his questions, Denise smiled. "Well, I don't know that. But I figure...if this is a trap then atleast I died doing what I love, which is helping people. I choose not to look on the darker side of things. Besides, how could a cute little boy like you possibly be evil, hm?" She said, ruffling Selim's hair. "Now come on, let's go find your new daddy." Denise then lead Selim further towards their destination. For the rest of the walk, Selim was fixated on Denise, amazed at her naive selflessness. "Is this what Wrath saw in her? Maybe she is more than just a pretty face." He wondered to himself. Once at Central, Denise and Selim are confronted by some guards who refuse to allow Selim inside. "But he is the Fuhrer's adopted son! You must let him in!" Denise persisted, a fact which the guards denied as they were not aware of Bradley's supposed adoption of Selim. This argument continued until the Fuhrer himself showed up. "What seems to be the problem, officers?" He asked calmly. Once the officers explained the situation, Bradley smiled and put his hand on one of the guards' shoulders. "This child is my newly adopted son. I did not inform you all of this yet because the paperwork was not yet filed, now would you please let him in? And the woman as well. She is a good personal friend of mine." The Fuhrer's words shocked Denise. "Oh, I really must be going..." She said. "Nonsense, come on in. I have some tea that is freshly made. You simply must try some." He said. Denise thought about it for a second, unsure what to do. "Sure. Why not." She responded, shrugging. "I could use a nice drink after the long day I've had." With that, Bradley, Denise, and Selim headed towards his personal quarters. An hour or so passed consisting of pleasent conversations between Bradley and Denise as Selim watched on. "They really seem to be connecting." Selim thought to himself. "Wonderful." As the child found joy in a plan working out, Bradley smiled as well. "Well, Ms. Denise, I must say, your presense is most desireable. I have not had many times like this where I can just be myself and not the Fuhrer. I thank you for that." Denise, too, smiled. "And I thank you! It is very nice to know that the Fuhrer of our country is not the cold and calculating man everyone says he is." She chuckled. "Well, I may be cold and calculating but I do have other perks as well and I am glad you can see them." He said, taking her hand and kissing it. "We must do this again some time, Denise. Today was wonderful." Denise blushed lightly and let an airy chuckle escape her mouth. "Yes, we must."
