William had been on his way to one of his employees offices to tell them that he shift had been over with when, he noticed that the lights were off and, it was rather..eerie. He summoned his scythe in preparation of any on coming threat. Sensing that there was none, he cautiously walked towards the other's desk and, noticed that the other's accursed bug was still there. He cringed and, stepped back a bit. He hated bugs. That was when he saw a note on the jar. He picked it up and, began to read it.
Dear whoever comes into me office first,
Hey guys. It's me. Er—Well, it was before I quit.
His eyes widened a bit. Ronald had quit? No/ This couldn't be true. Why had he left. He looked back down at the note and, kept reading.
You're probably wondering why. Well, I just thought I needed a change, you know? I'm at that age where I want to be rowdy and, I can't really do that being tied down by work, can I?
He frowned a bit at this. Was this his only reason for leaving? He sure as hell hoped that it wasn't or else he'd have hell to pay. His frown deepened and, he kept reading.
That isn't the only reason though. I've been feeling really…inadequate lately. Like I'm easily replaceable. Like I'm a burden. You guys have that feeling sometimes, don't you? I felt like I wasn't needed and, that no one would miss me when I left.
What? Replaceable? Ronald? He would've laughed out right at that. He wasn't replaceable in the slightest. So what if he slacked off a little. He was still a very hard worker and, one of his best employees. Why on earth did he feel this way? He was also rather popular around the office for his very sunny disposition. He was like a ray of sunshine around the office.
So, with this final goodbye, I leave you with this. This place was like a second home to me. I'm really gonna miss it and, the people and, friends that I've made. Especially those pretty ladies down at general affairs.
He rolled his eyes at that. Typical. Always thinking of the ladies. He was rather upset that he was leaving or..well left.
Goodbye..
Love, Ronald.
P.S. Someone should take care of Mothra for me. He gets lonely.
P.P.S. Feed him too. He gets hungry
William put the letter down without a word. He picked up his glasses and, the jar and, headed to Grell's office. He needed someone to comfort him. A friend. Who better to be there for him than the man who he'd known for just about his whole existence? He sighed shakily and, walked along.
Maybe someday he would be back.
