One-shots that I'll be churning out with guaranteed irregularity as to updates and verses. Only thing to certainly be found is SasuSaku/Team 7ness. Hope y'all enjoy!
(ajsfbnjaksnvk why am I doing this, these things just come bursting out of my brain, I HAVE A PROBLEM)

His energy is spent. The urge to fall to his knees is overwhelming, but somehow he's still standing (and isn't that familiar, a voice whispers).

He hears Naruto panting next to him, slowly becomes aware of the injuries littering his body as his senses return to him.

"…Did we do it? Is it over?" Naruto, tremulous and hopeful and staring at the place where Kaguya and Black Zetsu had just been.

Sasuke hears his words and sees the events that just occurred fly past in his mind; the two of them sprinting through rubble and dust, his Susanoo swirling around them, and Kaguya's enraged face, the sound of her final furious scream as he and Naruto pump their chakra and will into the seal.

He swallows. "Aa," he croaks.

The disbelieving laugh is little more than a huff as it makes its way from Naruto's throat, but it's more than anything Sasuke's currently capable of.

He can still see where the former Hokages had stood, lending them their collective 'd disappeared as soon as Kaguya fell, Minato with tears in his eyes and all of them wearing proud smiles. Part of him still wonders at Minato being Naruto's father, remembering the man ascending to the sky in a stream of light. That leads to thoughts of his own family, - Itachi, Mother, Father - and Sasuke feels nothing and everything at once.

He blinks once, and a flash of pink tears him away from within his mind. Sakura is further away to his left, on the ground, eyes closed, not moving and Sasuke's senses desert him again.

No, he thinks and does not register his legs moving. No, he thinks and does not hear Naruto cursing and running behind him. No, he thinks and sees Kakashi on his knees in front of her.

It was my responsibility, he thinks as he reaches her, and in his mind he sees her healing and giving them all her chakra and defending herself through Kakashi's flickering Susanoo. It wasn't supposed to be you, he says silently, hearing his own claim that he and Naruto were to survive even if it meant sacrificing others.

Naruto and Kakashi are next to him and scrambling to check her condition. Naruto is howling at her to wake up, Kakashi is hoarse as he says nothing but her name, and Sasuke is hovering over her not yet saying anything because she has to be alive, there's no way she could've left them, not after everything.

He grabs her wrist and feels for a pulse there because his hand will not move towards her neck ever again, and he thinks, Sakura. Everything becomes overwhelming; he sees her blood and thinks of what he's lost, sees the chance for even a semblance of his own happiness seeping from her open wounds. He lies his head on her chest, listening, hoping against hope, his eyes shutting, please. Please.

There's a flutter. A thump. An inhale.

"S-Sasuke-kun… You're heavy."
