A few minutes later we arrive at the new school, and Johnny drives the car into the parking lot. He finds a parking space, and he parks his car in the parking space. He turns off the engine of the car,and we unbuckle our seatbelts.
We open up the car doors, and we get out of the car. I have my backpack, and my school supplies with me. We close the doors behind us,and we walk into the school building. We go into the school office, and Johnny fills out some paperwork.
A few minutes later he is done filling out the paperwork, and we leave the office. We walk down the hallway, and we go into teacher Amanda's classroom. We talk to her for a few minutes.
Johnny says,"Hi I'm John Gage, and this is my daughter Sarah."
Teacher Amanda responds,"Hi I'm teacher Amanda, and I'll be Sarah's new teacher. Welcome to Los Angeles county early learning center."
"Thanks we are glad to be here."
"You're welcome, and can I show you around the classroom?"
"Yes,sure."
They finish up their conversation, and teacher Amanda shows us around the classroom. I find a desk with a blue chair at it,and I sit down at it. Teacher Amanda talks to me for a few minutes.
Teacher Amanda says,"Is that where you would like to sit Sarah?" I respond,"Yes,it is."
"Ok,I'll get a name tag,and put your name on it."
"Ok."
We finish up our conversation, and teacher Amanda gets a name tag out. She puts my name on it,and she puts it on the desk that I am sitting at. I unzip my backpack, and I put my school supplies in my desk. Teacher Amanda talks to Johnny for a few minutes.
Teacher Amanda says,"I see that Sarah already has her school supplies."
Johnny responds,"Yes,she does."
"That's a good thing."
"Yes,it is."
They finish up their conversation, and I finish putting my school supplies away in my desk. I get up from my desk, and I zip my backpack back up. We exit the classroom, and we go out into the hallway.
Teacher Amanda gives Johnny a schedule of what time school starts. He takes it,and we leave from the school. We walk outside, and we walk over to Johnny's car. He unlocks the doors, and we open up the doors.
We get into his car,and we close the doors behind us. We put our seatbelts on,and he turns on the engine of his car. He drives out of the school parking lot,and he drives us back home. I talk to Johnny for a few minutes.
I say,"I like Teacher Amanda, and she seems like a nice teacher."
Johnny responds,"I'm glad to hear that, and yes,she sure does."
"Her classroom looks like a fun place to learn."
"Yes,that it sure does."
"I'm excited to be going back to school again."
"That's a good thing."
"Yes,it is."
We finish up our conversation, and it isn't long before we arrive back at home.
