"You little demons get out!" their father screamed as he kicked them out of the house, "And don't come back!" he added. The two sisters Annie and Alexis were kicked out of their house by their parents they were kinda happy no more beatings from their father, but being left to defend for themselves or freeze to death in the icy cold forest.
"Whats you plan now Alexis!" mumbled Annie as they began to walk into the cold white forest. Annie was sightly scared but was smart for her age,she was younger than Alexis by a year but a grade ahead of her. She had gotten transferred a grade ahead for passing all her pre-post tests with an A+, but she was bullied by the other students for being too smart for her age.
"Find food, i guess" Added Alexis as they entered a snowy meadow, in the center of the forest. Alexis always wanted to defend her little sister, but sometimes wasn't there to do that, but she loved her to death and hated to see her get beaten daily by the father for being a no go disgrace at least according to her father.
"Yea, that sounds like a plan" Annie replied, but when she turned around Alexis was gone. They had got separated by the snow storm and she ran to find her sister but couldn't find her. Annie plopped down in the snow and started to sob, touching the bruise she had just gotten from her father today.
Meanwhile...
Alexis was sitting in the snowy grass, she sat there looking up in the sky as the snowflakes fell gently onto her dark black hair. She hated her parents, they always called her a disgrace, but finally they just didn't want her anymore. She had a bruise on her cheek from her dad hitting her. She sighed as she put her hand out letting the snowflakes fall into her hand.
Jack Frost was waltzing through the grass, looking around at all the snow. When he noticed the girl and the bruise on her cheek. He flew over to her, "Hey…are you alright?" he knelt by her.
Alexis looked over at the boy and sighed "I'm okay i guess... I kind of deserved it..." She sighed as a tear rolled down her cheek. She whimpered softly as she touched the bruise on her cheek "My dad was right... I am a disgrace... I can't even do anything right!, I can't even take care of my little sister for crying out loud..." She started to cry as she wiped her tears away, Trying to calm herself down.
Jack didn't want to intrude, but he wasn't sure how else to cheer her up. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and lightly rubbed her arm. "Uh..it's alright. Just calm down." he spoke softly to the weeping girl.
Alexis took a deep breath and wiped the tears away with her sleeve. She blushed slightly as she looked at Jack but immediately snapped back to reality her sister was still missing probably slowly freezing to death by now somewhere in the woods. She looked at Jack and sighed "I don't even know where my sister is either I'm worried..." She calmed down slightly as she felt Jack's warm presence, she felt safe around him.
He looked up, "Maybe we could look for her. What's your name?" he asked, getting a bit closer now that she was calming down. he kept a friendly expression so he wouldn't freak her out even more...
