A/N: I got this idea at 2 in the morning went I couldn't sleep. Just thought I would be interesting to write. :)

Haven't proof read it so sorry if there are any mistakes.

A look at Caroline and Klaus's eternal relationship from a strangers perspective.

Klaroline one-shot.

They were walking along the path. I was sat on the bench.

It was almost midnight in Paris and the stars were out.

They walked along hand in hand with their fingers locked between each others.
The blonde girl was talking and the guy smiling and intently listening to her, clearly enjoying whatever words came out in that beautiful voice.

"Caroline", he called her. "Klaus", She called him.

They stepped off the path and onto the grass, he twirled her under his arm, like a ballerina.
She giggled and he joined in.

Her movements were feather-like and gentle, his were strong on the inside, but gentle towards her.
I could somehow tell he was only this gentle with her.

They strolled towards the pond and stopped by the edge.
He stood behind her with his hands around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.

She pointed up to sky. I looked up to see. It was a shooting star.
Make a wish, he said, in a soft British accent. And they turned to the side.

He placed his hands on her hips, she wrapped her arms around his neck, playing with his hair.

I saw her lips move but heard no words come out.
But I new what she had whispered to him.

"I have no need to make a wish, because I already have you. There's nothing in the universe I would want more."

They looked deeply into each others eyes, like they had forever.

They remained silent for a minute, enjoying the bliss of each other.

Then he spoke.
And then she spoke.

I only saw his lips move, but could tell what he said.
I only saw her lips move, but could tell what she said.

"I love you."
"I love you."

Their lips came together and they broke into a passionate kiss.
His arms on her waist pulled her in tighter, never wanting to let her go.

On of his arms wrapped completely around her waist, the other one went up, resting on the back of her head, gently stroking her hair.

She pulled back from the kiss, looking into his eyes.
Their foreheads rested against each other, and they both smiled.

He pulled away from her and took her hand in his, their fingers locking together, like a lock and key.

They walked away from the pond and back onto the path, and continued to walk.

I watched them walk away.

He was her forever, and she was his eternity.
