Prologue

They were parked when it had happened. Kurt and Blaine both had just gotten into the car. Blaine and bent over to grab something out of the bag he was carrying. Kurt froze when he suddenly felt the cold gun against his face and a clicking sound.

"Blaine," Kurt whispered and Blaine looked up. It was Blaine's turn to freeze and stare at the man holding the gun.

"Give me your wallets or I'll blow his head off," the man growled. Blaine quickly nodded as he handed the man his wallet and with trembling hands Kurt did th same. Kurt's heart pounded against his chest. His very life was being threatened. The man could just press harder against the trigger and it'd be over. Just like that. He couldn'tstop trembling.

"Your watch too," the man said to Blaine. Kurt winced as he kne how important that watch was to Blaine, it was his Gradfather's. Still Blaine quickly obeyed. Kurt couldn't stop shaking as he felt the gun press harder against his then just like that, the man was suddenly gone.

They sat there, unable to move or speak. Blaine reached out to touch Kurt but Kurt jerked away. Blaine bit his lip. He was incredibly shaken too but it was clear this had affected Kurt a great deal more.

"Kurt? Are you...all right?" Dumb question.

Kurt didn't respond.

"Let...me drive," he said and Kurt nodded slowly as he opened the door. "And we'll go to the police station," Blane added as they switched seat. Another nod. Kut couldn't so staring ahead.

Blaine tried to grab Kurt's hand but Kurt quickly jerked away. As Blaine's grip on the steering wheel tightened he began to wonder if Kurt would allow anyone to touch him again.
