I do not own Dynasty Warriors or Lu Xun only my nameless O.C.
A young girl sat on a large, grassy field. She was looking up to the starry night sky when the light sound of footsteps could be heard.
"Hey!" The girl whipped her head around as she saw a boy running up to her.
"I've been looking for you." The boy said as he settled himself next to the girl. The boy had short, dark brown hair and he wore red clothes.
"Oh? Why is that?" the girl questioned.
"I just feel a bit tired, so I thought I'd come and talk to you." The boy replied with a sheepish grin.
"You know Lu Xun, as a strategist, you should not be slacking off." The girl laughed as she teased Lu Xun.
"I'm still only learning, and a break is never a bad thing." Lu Xun said with a sigh.
The young girl gave a slight grin as she continued to stare up at the night sky. "That's true. I'm sure Lord Zhou Yu is a strict teacher."
Lu Xun chuckled as he thought back on past lessons with him. "He can be strict, but it's only for the better. But he was actually gone today so it was just Master Lu Meng and I."
"Gone? Where was he?" The girl gave him a curious look.
This is just like her, Lu Xun thought, she always has to know what is going on.
He gave a slight smile. "I believe he was with Lord Sun Ce preparing a date with the Qiaos."
"One of our smartest strategists skipping a lesson for a date? Soon he will be skipping war meeting and even the battles. What is our kingdom coming to?"
Lu Xun let out a small chuckle as he replied, "Well, I'm sure he just really loves her."
The girl scoffed at what he said. "Love? As if."
"What do you mean?" Lu Xun gave her a confused look.
"I mean 'love'. It's not real. Nobody can love someone forever; they're eventually going to get bored of them, or just stop liking them."
Lu Xun thought about what the girl said. "Well, people can love their family, can't they? And what about friends?"
"I think family is different, and friends are just like what I said before. You're eventually going to get bored of them or just stop liking them." The girl replied with a bored look on her face.
"Don't you love someone?" Lu Xun asked.
"No, I don't," The girl stated simply. Lu Xun gave a disappointed look.
"Why? Do you?" The girl asked. Lu Xun looked at the girl but blushed and quickly looked away.
"N-no, not really. It's more of I've taken a liking to someone," Lu Xun stuttered, turning a very light shade of red.
"I see," the girl said; not questioning him.
"Well, it's getting late. I should head inside. I'll talk to you later," Lu Xun said as he stood up and began to make his way back.
The girl watched Lu Xun as he walked away. "Love... Maybe I do love someone."
She gave a slight smile as she stared up at the beautiful night sky before her.
Reviews are appreciated.
The story is based on my own feeling because I don't think love is real and I still don't.
I probably won't name the O.C unless I make a Oneshot series about her, which I might... don't know yet.
