So far- Obi wan has chased Anakin off Mustafar ,and to the temple where they see Ahsoka hiding in the room where the younglings were. Their bodies have disappeared.
Now-
"Master? Oh ,Master, thank the Force you're alive!" cried Ahsoka ,on seeing Anakin ."All the younglings…."
She trailed off and her eyes filled with tears.
"Ahsoka be careful!" shouted Obi wan. "He is a Sith!"
"A-A Sith? No! No ,I refuse to believe such lies!" She shook her head vehemently.
"Ahsoka please! He's the one who killed the younglings!"
She turned to face her master and pleaded with her eyes for him to tell her the truth . Her ran and embraced her….and the lightsaber at her stomach ignited .Anakin let her fall, running deeper into the Temple.
"Ahsoka!" Obi Wan ran to her side.
"There's still good in him Master" she coughed , blood trickling from the corner of her mouth . Then he could feel her Force Signature no more.
Obi Wan closed his eyes in grief.
"How could you Anakin! Your own padawan!"
He rose to his feet and ran after Anakin into the Council room.
"Give up Anakin" He called. "It's over .You'll never get away with this!"
He was answered by the sudden hum of a lightsaber, and brought his own up just in time to block a vicious attack .He parried and lashed at Anakin's face, but he blocked it easily and started a crippling barrage of attacks Obi Wan was barely able to block.
"Where did you learn to fight like this Anakin? This style is not taught by the Jedi!" said Obi wan , trying to distract Anakin.
"I learnt from my master, Darth Sidious." replied Anakin, totally unfazed.
"Have you no shame? No honour ? She trusted you! Now you know why the council did not!" grunted Obi Wan.
Anakin stopped immediately,taking Obi Wan by surprise. He dropped his lightsaber.
"I quit." choked Anakin. "I can see that I will never be trusted . Just tell the public I wanted to get married or something."
"Huh?!"
"You can come out now, Master Windu, Chancellor , Ahsoka ,younglings. Thank you for your lovely performance."
The named people stepped out from behind the council seats.
"I think Master Windu, if you retract the 'no attachments' rule ,Masters and padawans will have a bond strong enough that even such extreme measures as the ones I just took would not shake their trust in each other. And maybe I could forgive Master Kenobi for believing that I would ever turn."
Anakin walked stiffly out of the room.
"Anakin wait!"
Obi Wan ran out after him. He followed Anakin to their old quarters…and they both burst out laughing.
"Great double bluff Anakin! For once, your plan didn't need improvisation!" grinned Obi Wan
"And it's a good thing I trusted you with my secret ,or what we just acted out might have come true!" chuckled Anakin.
"When?! In what Galaxy would that ever happen?!"* asked Obi Wan clutching at his stomach
"Still," mused Anakin "Its nice that Ahsoka didn't believe it."
"That's because you were a good Master ,Anakin" said Obi Wan proudly.
"I learnt from my Master ,Obi Wan .I learnt from my Master."
