At breakfast, Hinjy flew in with a neat parcel attached to his beak, and presently dumped it in a pile in front of Albus Severus Potter as he ate his breakfast. He was so surprised at the arrival of the parcel, he forgot to put his spoon in his mouth so his porridge slipped off and into his lap. Albus quickly grabbed the parcel and tore open the letter attached to it. He hadn't asked for anything, and he was pretty sure he hadn't forgotten anything major at home...so what was in the parcel?
Dear Albus,
I know you must be confused at the random arrival of this parcel, but your mother was making me clear out all those cardboard boxes in the spare room and I found this. Don't you dare show your brother. He already has an item in his possession that, teamed up with this, would make him a complete menace. So take care of it, and use it well.
Dad
P.S. It's a family heirloom, and it has a very cool story, so I've also sent along a copy of that too.
P.S.S. Your mum made some more of that vanilla fudge, so if you want some, just owl us.
Albus picked up the parcel and began to carefully unwrap it. One corner, and then the next, very neatly so that he could use the wrapping when he sent a Tupperware box back to his parents for the fudge. Inside was a beautiful, shimmering cloak and an dusty, well-worn book. Albus, being who he was, immediately picked up the book. The title read: 'The Tales of Beadle the Bard'. Curious, Albus put the book on the side to read later. Then, he picked up the cloak. It was very beautiful, with intricate patterns and it's shimmering material. Albus pushed back from the table, stood up and put the cloak on. He looked down and gasped. His head now seemed to be floating in midair, his body having been turned completely invisible. He saw his brother down the table, and reckoned he couldn't wait to finally get his own back on James for stealing his books.
