Water & Ice Poem

Ice melts into water

Water freezes into ice

They would never be able

To untangle themselves

From this endless cycle

And so surrendering

They fell madly in love;

It started slow

As the dew forms at night,

Only to evaporate each morning

It started rough

Where unrequited love

Gave way to tears, hurt and pain

It somehow changed-

Realization of feelings

Surfacing above the undertow

Water can break ice

Weather it down to nothing

And so she did

she won him over

With unending love

That flows to the rhythm

Of a cycle

Of Ice melting into water

Water freezing into ice
