They had been through everything together. She had always been there for him, always by his side. Even when he had told her to go away, she stayed. No matter how hard he tried to get her to go away, she stayed. Always stayed. It was her job to protect him. He protested that he could take care of himself, but no matter what he said she stayed. Even when he was the grumpiest person in the world and no one dared to go near him, she was there. He hated her for it. But now, all he wanted was for her to stay. She wasn't fighting back anymore. She was willing to die then and there. He was trying to prove her innocence, but it wasn't working. Everyone had already laid out all the evidence that she had done the crime. Now she was going to die. He rushed out to try and save her, but then she had done something she promised herself she would never do. She had hurt him, but she didn't know that she already had before that. She was going to die protecting him. She always protected him. The blades pierced through her, just missing him. She had died at the first sword, but they made sure she was dead by piercing them all through. Some of the blades had cut him aswell, but her body was taking most of the damage. Her silver hair stained pink along with her clothes. He was rushed out of her execution but lost consciousness. He could hear voices, but couldn't identify them. He had just lost the person who had always been there. All he could think, was why? Why did it have to be them in this brutal game? And most of all, why did she have to die saving him? He understood it was her job, but he never got to say what he wanted to say to her. Now she will never know. Never know how much he cared. Never know how much he wanted her to stay by his side when he told her to go away. Now, she will never know. Instead of hating her for protecting him, he hated himself for not protecting her. Regret.
He woke up in a hospital. He couldn't see through his right eye anymore due to what had happened. A reminder of the tragedy. Now the memory will never go away. Great. All he had to do now was survive. He knew she wouldn't want him to give up. He wouldn't. He'd make sure that he'd survive. For her. But the question was, could he live without her? He'd have to find out.

Hello! First off, this is not a oneshot. I'm gonna write more chapters, but I wanted to get this out first. So, spoilers of course, and I'm just gonna skip all of the other murders. I'm sorry but, this is after they get out.
Conclusion: Complete spoiler and KuzuPeko fic.
