Minato's POV
She is crying again. I hate it when she cries. I feel so useless! I can never gather up the courage. What wrong with me?
"Minato-kun!" The familiar voice of Rinako called out.
I don't bother to turn around or stop; normally I would but Rinako made her cry. I can't forgive that. I won't.
"Minato-kun!" Rinako called out even louder.
Still I ignore her and walk faster.
She finally catches up to me and pokes my shoulder.
I turn around and making sure I show no emotion said, "What do you want?"
She grins coquettishly, "Well, I was wondering if you are busy this weekend."
"Yes, I am and if you'll excuse me I have somewhere to be." I break into a run.
"Minato-kun! Wait! I'm not done talking to you." Rinako screamed as she tired to catch up.
Rinako can't though; I'm too fast for her. When I stopped found myself on the school's roof. And there she was, crying. As soon as she saw me, she glared at me. (I'm not talking about Rinako)
"You here to make fun of me?" She asked, though it sounded more like a statement then a question.
"No. I-I'm n-not." I answered.
"Lies! You're here to tell me, my hair is ugly! That red is an ugly color, like everyone else! You can go to hell!" She turned to leave.
I grabbed her arm and whispered, "No I'm not."
"What?" She sounded surprised.
"I'm here to tell you that red is a beautiful color and your hair is beautiful." I replied, pulling her into my arms. "That you're beautiful and everyone else is wrong."
"They can't be all wrong." She countered.
"They can and are. You can't judge beauty objectively. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all. What one finds beautiful another might find ugly." I smiled, "And I think you're beautiful in body and spirit, therefore you are."
"Thank you." She whispered.
"You're welcome, Kushina."
