It was Canada's birthday and just like every year before it everyone forgot except Russia. Ever since last year Canada and Russia had begun dating and have been falling in love with one another more and more every day. This year she surprised him with a pancake feast for breakfast which came with berries, whipped cream and lots and lots of maple syrup. She also made him a brand new hockey stick which he adored. After that they just spent the day cuddling on the sofa until nine thirty when Russia told him that she had a surprise for him up north by the ice burgs. Curious he asked what it was but she replied that she didn't want to spoil the surprise. Upon reaching the ice burgs Russia began holding Canada's left her with her right as she began cuddling with him. He then began admiring her. He still thanked god every day for bringing this goddess to him an allowing such a beautiful being such as Russia to love a nobody like him. He still couldn't believe that she loved him but he was so very grateful that she did. At ten o' clock sharp an Aurora Borealis appeared din the sky.
"Surprise, Happy Birthday Mattie" Russia told him as he looked on in awe, "I vent online and studied their patterns for months trying to predict vhen one would happen so ve could watch it together" she states, "Its not fair that fatso gets fireworks and you get nothing" Russia says as Canada turns to her in awe.
"Thank you so much for an amazing b-birthday Anya, I love you so much" Canada says.
"I love you too Mattie" Russia says as he pulls her into a very passionate kiss. Upon breaking the kiss Canada begins blushing nervously.
"Anya, can you please close your eyes, I-I h-have a s-surprise for y-you" Canada says.
"But Mattie, its your birthday you should be the one getting the surprises" Russia replies.
"Please" Matthew begs as Russia chuckles.
"Okay my eyes are close" she replies as Canada takes a small velvet box out of his pants pocket. He then gets down now one knee and opens it revealing a ring shaped like a maple leaf that is made up of rubies and diamonds.
"O-Okay you c-can open y-your eyes n-now Canada says as Russia opens her eyes and gasps in shock, "Anya, tvoya lyubov' k moyey zhizni, i ya blagodaryu nebesa kazhdyy den' moyey zhizni, chto ty so mnoy, ya ne mogu vyrazit', naskol'ko ya lyublyu tebya tol'ko v odnikh slovakh, tak ty sdelayesh' mne chest' i sdelayesh' menya Samyy schastlivyy chelovek na zemle i provedu ostatok moyey vechnosti so mnoy, kak moya zhena" Canada says proposing in perfect Russian as Russia begins crying.
"Da" Anya replies tackling him to the ground as she begins kissing him all over.
"YA tak sil'no tebya lyublyu Anya" Canada says in between in kisses.
"Je t'aime tellement aussi Mattie" Russia replies in French also in between kisses.
Well here's my short one-shot for Canada day…even though I live in the U.S….happy birthday Mattie…oh also since I live in the U.S. I have no idea if they have fireworks or anything else special in Canada for Canada day so if they do ignore that comment Russia says about Canada getting nothing while America gets fireworks…R&R and have a great day:)
