Where is the Love?
They were perfect for each other; everyone knew it. And that gave Sonny Monroe a glimmer of hope. Because if everyone else said that she was perfect with Chad, then maybe he felt the same way! Maybe someday, the rivalry between their shows would end and they could be peaceful for once. Maybe, they could get their happy ending.
That's what she thought. So when she walked into the cafeteria one day and saw Chad kissing Tawni, she felt her heart break a little bit inside. Tears streamed down her face and she tried to run. But instead she collapsed on the floor in hysterics, right in front of them!
They broke apart and Chad ran over to her. "Sonny, what's wrong?"
But she just pushed him away and ran away. The next day, Tawni came to her dressing room to find all of Sonny's things gone and a note taped to the mirror. She pulled it off and it said:
Dear Tawni,
By the time you read this I'll be gone. So don't even try to look for me. I saw you and Chad, and I hope you two are very happy together.

And Tawni had fallen to the floor, crying hysterically. Because Sonny was gone. And Mr. Condor was making Chad and Tawni go out for publicity. The paparazzi had been around, and Mr. Condor had told them to kiss. So they had to. But Sonny hadn't known that. And Chad had loved her.
So now Sonny Monroe walks the streets in Connecticut with her husband. Because she never knew Chad really loved her. So she had moved on. But she would never know that he would never move on. She only knew that she couldn't. Because she still loved him. And so she tries to be happy with her husband, but she can't. So she pretends. After all, that's what acting is, isn't it?
Because the tabloids had said that they were like Romeo and Juliet. Too bad Rome and Juliet ended in disaster. Just like Sonny and Chad.
