Author's note: this is an inside look at Zoro when he hears about Robin's apparent betrayal. Not gonna bother with an episode cuz I can't remember that far back!
Her real intentions
I knew there was no way to really trust her. All those darkened doors behind her eyes, and words veiled by her uncommitted smile. When I heard that Iceberg had seen Robin the night that he was attacked I knew that there was something more. That Robin hadn't told us everything and that she was using us. But it was Luffy's insane determination that she wasn't the one and that she wouldn't betray us that made her actions all the more damning.
Luffy trusted her, and damn him if he didn't instil that desire to be true in all of us, but Robin, she never did. Every time I looked at her, she was hiding behind something, especially after that incident with the demented sea horse. We all saw someone we missed, loved, or changed our lives. We even spoke about it as a group, telling tales of a past that determined our future but Robin stayed silent. Her eyes focused on a point so far away that it drew the colour from her cheeks.
It made my blood boil to think that she had stayed with us and Luffy trusted her then to have her turn around and let us take the blame for her actions pissed me off. She was going to have some explaining to do when I saw her next.
