A Trip of a Life Time

Veronica Di Angelo boarded the plane holding tight onto Scooters hand. She looked up at him. His red hair shone in the sunlight. "Well, off we go!" He said.
"Yes, to Ireland!" Veronica said.
Ding-Dong Ding-Dong Scooter rung the door bell and I squirmed a little. What if his parents didn't like me? I had never met royalty. Of course I tried not to let scooter see my nervouseness. How unldaylike would that be?
A butler opened the door and bowed slightly to scooter. "Master, you parents are awaiting you in the parlour," He said.
"Oh, yes. Well tell them I'll be there in a few," Scooter said. I smiled, his irish accent allways calmed me. We walked down a hallway and soon arrived at a door. I quickly fixed my dress as the butler waiting for us opened the door. I was quite facinated by the big parlour. Scooter let me in, I saw his parents smiling faces.
"Son, you are back again!" His father said, standing up to give his son a hug. His mother also got up to give her some a hug. I stood there, I felt a little out of place, I had lived in some big houses, but never anything like this.
"Mother, father," Scooter Started. "This is veronica." I smiled and curtsied a bit.
"Oh, we;ve heard quite alot of you, veronica," Scooters Mother said.
"I do hope it's all been good," I said. Scooters mother and father laughed.
"Well he did say you were a hard one to catch," Scooter's Father said. Everyone laughed again. I smiled as I calmed. Then we all sat with tea and talked. THe whole while, I felt like I belonged, and that was all that mattered.
